OPTIMA’s range of Shear Beam Load Cells are very accurate and rugged, constructed to last life time. We have always exceeded expectations of our customers in terms of quality and customer service.
The range of applications includes Platforms, Scales, Silo, Tank, Hopper, Vessel, Bin and many more.
Shear beam load cells are widely used in industry because they are reliable, accurate, easy to install, and inexpensive. They are also very versatile. Shear beam load cells measure force by measuring deflection of a beam under load. This type of load cell is commonly used for weighing objects.
A single-beam load cell consists of two beams connected at one end with a pivot point. One beam is fixed while the other moves up and down as the object being weighed is loaded onto the load cell. Double-beam shear beam load cells consist of two parallel beams connected by a cross bar. Each beam is attached to a base plate. As an object is loaded onto the load cells, the weight is transferred through the cross bar to both beams.
We have special mounting kits (Weighing Modules) for Platforms, Scales, Conveyors, Silo, Tank, Hopper, Bin and Vessels application which is subjected to vibration, high wind and knocks.
They are also available for harsh environments with IP68 and IP69K protection class.
Our Load Cells are approved to all OIML requirements C2, C3, C4 and even C6.
ATEX approved version for harzardous area application zones 0,1,2 for gas and 20,21,22 for dust are optionally available.
